Workshop series

Series that start together

A set number of weeks with the same group, and one-time sessions for teams and clubs.

Fall
  • Four weeks, Tuesday evenings, from early September

    Foundations workshop

Awareness, stance and a first set of strikes on pads

A group of up to 12 that starts together and moves together: how you stand, how you breathe and how you take up space, then pads.

    • 7:30 to 9 pm
  • Three weeks, Thursday evenings, from early October

    Boundaries and voice workshop

Saying no with words, posture and open hands

Partners take turns, and each person decides how far a drill goes. We practice a firm voice, a calm stop and making space.

    • 7:30 to 9 pm
  • Six weeks, Saturday mornings, from late October

    Pad work workshop

Strikes, kicks and combinations with a partner

Light-contact drills on pads, with an easier and a harder way to do each one. Strength and breath, built week by week.

    • 10:30 am to noon
  • One evening or one lunch hour, planned with you

    Group or workplace workshop

One session for your team, club or circle of friends

Awareness, boundaries, voice and pad work in a single session for a group of up to 16. We plan it with you.

    • 60 to 90 minutes
    • At the studio or at your workplace

Sample sessions.

For groups and workplaces

Bring a workshop to your group

We plan a session with you for a team, a club, a congregation or a circle of friends. It can happen at the studio or at your place, over an evening or a lunch hour. We practice awareness, boundaries, voice and pad work, and everyone sets their own pace.

  • Groups of up to 16

  • At the studio or at your workplace

  • Planned with you ahead of time
