How tuition works
Our figures are on the enrollment page, and we go over them with you at your first class. Here is how each part works.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on how many classes a week you attend and whether you join weekly classes, a workshop series or both. The figures are on the enrollment page, and we go over them with you at your first class.
Classes a week
Weekly classes or a workshop series
A group or workplace workshop
Holding a place
A place in a class or a series is held once you finish enrolling. When one is full we keep a waiting list and call in order when a place opens. Classes are limited to 12 and workshops to 16.
Billing
Membership is billed monthly by autopay through our member portal. A workshop series is paid when you join it. The next billing date shows on the enrollment page, and we send a reminder before it changes.
Help with tuition
Ask us whether a payment plan or assistance is open this month. We talk it through privately, in person or by message.
Withdrawing
Membership runs month to month. To stop, tell us in writing at least 30 days ahead; the month in progress is billed as usual. You can pause for illness, travel or a busy season: ask us how.
Month to month
Written notice, 30 days ahead
Pauses by arrangement
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class at the same level during the same session. Tell the front desk ahead and we'll find one that fits. Make-ups don't carry into the next session. If you can't finish a workshop series, ask us about joining a later one.
Gear and other costs
Beyond tuition, a few costs exist, and each is for something specific. The amounts are on the enrollment page.
Hand wraps and gloves for pad work, which you can borrow at first
A registration fee when you join, which sets up your file
A group or workplace workshop, planned with you
